This car bought in USA by one of our members was « sleeping » since a long time (1971). Our passion for that car says Malcolm « sticked » us during 2 years and around 1400 manhours of work to restore it. The frame has been completely undressed, wood and steel sheet partsof the bodywork were refurbished aas well as the suspension, brake system, gearbox for this last, gears of 1st ans 2d speede replaced + ball bearing, etc. refurbishment of engine was dedicated to the casing, crankshaft, cranckcam balancing, piston and rings replaced by new ones, intake valves and seats of head engine replaced, camshaft improved, new electrical cabling system, chromes, painting, etc. The Catalaa's garage of Oloron gave us a very efficient hand to the undertaken works as well as the English MH Car Club for technical documentation. |
